I Didn't know what it meant
BUT… It had God's- "Verification -Code" On it!

RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT, in Jesus' name.
You can even quiz yourself on your understanding of spiritual things, something like this:
True or False:
1- When people speak in tongues, they get some kind of occupying presence that pulls on the flesh, and they get these strange sounds that are forced upon their mind that disturbs them and they can't seem to make it go away.
I will give that a F for false, because I know it's false.
2-. When you speak in tongues, it will be a pleasant peaceful process whereby you will have something of the fruit of the Spirit enjoined with you, and you can stop speaking in tongues any time you wish. You will be blessed and peaceful as you speak in tongues and you will experience the Lord's rest.
I will give that a T for true, because I know it to be true.
We can all search out these things with the help of God. There is no end to how far you can go with this. If you find no more reason to search these things out, perhaps then you are ready to speak in tongues. Just do it by faith. God will be with you in that as you go out in faith.
Yes, yield to the Spirit of God. That will bring forth the utterance of speaking in tongues. So as I think about the word "yield" and what it means, I think of two cars stopped at an intersection. One yields to the other, letting the other one proceed.
Whenever we have spoken in the past, we have decided what to say, but we are to let the Holy Spirit give us something to say that did not originate with us.
I found myself bored today, wondering what I should do. Should I have breakfast? Well I wasn't really hungry. Should I make coffee? Well, I could, but then what? It's a beautiful sunny day, but cold outside. What should I do? I thought about this and that, but decided I really didn't want to do any of those things. I just got quiet, tired of thinking what to do. Ever get like that? That's not a bad place to be. Just being quiet and still is OK sometimes. That's a good time to speak in tongues.
If you want to speak in tongues but never have, you may ask God to give you something to say. Once you receive it, you may say it. What might it be? "Bah"? Dah? Kah? Could be anything. If it begins to flow, it's tongues. If you are the one originating it in your mind, it's not, and it won't flow. It would only be exhausting mental work, and there would not be any natural flow.
It's not something you can do by natural human ability alone. You must be yoked to the Spirit of God which is always in you because you believe in Jesus Christ. If you are not sure you have received the Spirit of God, you may ask God for it. He wants you to have it. God wants you to have him with you, always, and to know that he is with you always.
What if you went to the scriptures to learn all you can about speaking in tongues, or the Spirit of God.
Suppose you wrote out 50 questions, such as, 1- What was it like when Jesus received the Holy Spirit at his baptism by John? How did Jesus know to go to the wilderness? Was his human spirit joined (yoked) with the Holy Spirit? Was he moved by the Holy Spirit to go somewhere? Was he inspired by the Spirit of God? What is it to be inspired? Are songwriters sometimes inspired?
Suppose in your searching, you received something that seemed like they were answers from God. Suppose eventually, all your questions were answered and there was no more room to question anything? Would you have room for faith? Would faith be in you? What if you took action on that faith? What if God was with you, leading you in finding all you ever needed to know about Receiving the Holy Spirit? What if every one of your 50 questions were answered by God in some measure or another? Well then, you are being yoked with the Holy Spirit, right?
Never stop praying, "you will get your answer!" Amen
